University - a large institution with several smaller, specialized colleges on the campus. You can earn a 4 year degree from one of the colleges within the university.

 

4 Year Colleges - You can earn a Bachelors Degree from a 4 year college.

 

2 Year Junior College - You can earn a 2 year Associates Degree, a specialized certificate, or transfer credits/classes to a 4 year college or university. 2 Year Junior Colleges normally are less expensive than 4 year colleges or universities.

 

Military Academy - Specialized college where students are able to receive a 4 year Bachelors Degree and a commission as an officer into one of the military branches.
